What makes Mambobaby different from cheap inflatable rings?

Traditional baby floats rely on air, which is the #1 point of failure. A single puncture or a leaky valve can lead to a dangerous emergency. Mambobaby™ is non-inflatable. We use patented PearlFoam™ technology—a solid, breathable core that provides permanent buoyancy. It cannot pop, cannot leak, and never needs a pump.

What is PearlFoam™ and is it eco-friendly?

PearlFoam™ is a high-grade, moisture-proof material consisting of millions of tiny air capsules. It is lightweight, incredibly buoyant, and 100% BPA-Free and non-toxic. It is designed to be gentle on newborn skin while being durable enough to last for years of summer holidays.

🛡️ Safety & Usage

Can my baby tip over in a Mambobaby float?

Our floats are engineered with an Anti-Flip Stability Architecture. This includes widened sides and an adjustable 5-point safety harness (similar to a car seat). This prevents the baby from sliding out or leaning too far in any direction. Some models also include a detachable stability tail for extra counter-weight.

Are these floats certified for the UK?

Yes. Every float we sell meets the EN13138-1 European Safety Standards for buoyant aids for swimming instruction. We are committed to exceeding the mandatory UK safety requirements.

Can I use it at the beach or in the sea?

Mambobaby floats are designed for use in calm waters, such as swimming pools or very calm shorelines. They should never be used in open sea with waves, currents, or high winds. Constant adult supervision within arm's reach is mandatory at all times.

Which model should I buy for a 6-month-old?

For babies aged 3 to 24 months (weight 6kg – 18kg), our Chest Floats (Shark, Deluxe, Butterfly) are the best choice. They support both breaststroke and backstroke positions.

Is there a float for older toddlers (up to 4 years)?

Yes! Our Airplane Edition is specifically designed for older children aged 3 to 48 months. It is wider, provides more buoyancy, and is the perfect transition before they move to armbands.

How much is shipping to the UK?

Shipping is 100% FREE for all mainland UK addresses. We use tracked services via Royal Mail or Evri for your peace of mind.

Will I have to pay Brexit customs fees or VAT?

No. We operate as an official UK retailer under Snuggly Surprises Ltd. We cover all import duties and VAT. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.

How long will it take to arrive?

Because we ship fresh stock from our Global Quality Centre to ensure you get the latest 2026 model, delivery typically takes 7-10 business days. Please order at least 2 weeks before your holiday!

🧽 How do I clean and store my float?

After each use, rinse with fresh water and hang it in a ventilated area to dry. Our PU leather covers are moisture-proof and fast-drying. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for the season.
